Second, offer constructive criticism that would help this group. What might have been more clear?  What part of the Presentation seemed the least polished?  Be specific.

  1. I liked the humor and energy you showed in your presentation. I also thought the video clips you showed were well used. I think the presentation could've used more info on the tension between the US and the Soviets at that time.

  3. I would say that this was the most energetic or engaging presentation so far. When something that is on a slide that is important signal to people. At first I wasn't sure if the U.S. beat Finland.

  4. The presentation looked great, and the presenters had incredible energy, really supplementing the overall experience. The background given for the event was slightly unclear, however, a fantastic job was done on this presentation.

  5. You guys did very well being animated and engaging in the audience's interest. Adding jokes as well as voice inflections was well done.

Possibly, setting up the subject a little more concisely would allow the audience, who may not know the subject, to track from the get-go.

  6. You guys knew your material and your presentation was very educating, but I think you could have elaborated more on the relationship between the game and the real world conflict between the soviets and the US.

  8. I liked how you caught the audience's attention with jokes and humor. I thought the presentation was great but maybe a little more information on the game being in the height of the Cold War.

  12. One thing that I would change about the presentation is to maybe explain the influence that Hockey had on Americans. How did it affect the interest of hockey in America?

  13. One of my favorite movies is "Miracle" so the video was very much appreciated. excellent energy and well thought out presentation. the only thing i noticed was that the conclusion at the end seemed a little awkward and could have used some touching up.

  14. Very good presentation! It was very engaging and fun to watch. The only recommendation would be to possibly give more historical context about the cold war or the conflict between the U.S. and the Russians.

  15. I enjoyed the overall enthusiasm in the presentation. One thing that could have been improved would be that I thought some of the information at the beginning and end was a bit disconnected.

  16. Loved the enthusiasm and humor aspect of your presentation. Great, thorough info presented and good job expounding in your speech on the shallow points given in your PowerPoint. I also liked how you intertwined the issue of unity in relation to this hockey achievement at the very end.
criticism : your conclusion was a little rough and awkward, but other than that, GREAT job!!

  17. Very good job with making us realize how much of an impossible task to beat this soviet team with a bunch of college hockey players. one thing i think you could have done better to improve thuis project was on how this changed the sport of hockey

  19. "great moments are born from great opportunity, and that's what you have here tonight" fantastic work guys. this is one of the most iconic moments in all of USA hockey. although I feel like you could have talked a little more about the actual game and not just the outcome, and I would have loved to hear more background information as well as what happened after the game against Russia to kind of complete the story

  20. The presenters were very knowledgeable on the topic. It had a energetic feel which was helpful in getting into the topic. I don't know much about hockey but I found it interesting that when competing in the pre Olympic games that they won 42 of them. The videos were helpful in understanding how it was such a magnificent win for the US. It would have been helpful to know more on the tension between the US and Soviet Union and previous matches leading up to this significant game.
