Amanda and Regan: Andy Warhol

For your comments on Presentations:

First, write about something well done.  What did you learn from this group?  What part of the Presentation seemed the best?  Be specific, and use a specific example from the Presentation and your notes.

Second, offer constructive criticism that would help this group. What might have been more clear?  What part of the Presentation seemed the least polished?  Be specific.

  1. I really liked how you connected his art to modern today and how his influence lives on and his movement. I thought your presentation was very clear and concise, no critiques!

  2. I liked the way your presentation talked about essentially every aspect of Andy Warhol. It didn't seem like you left out much information on him. Constructive criticism would be to go more in depth in his most famous piece/pieces.

  3. I liked how you guys explained how he revolutionized pop culture, still impacting art to this day. The only thing I would add is maybe some information, on his most famous paintings and artwork.

  5. Loved your guys' presentation. You both seemed genuinely passionate about your subject and so that aspect made it entertaining and easy to concentrate on what you were sharing. I loved that you both gauged your outfits to your topic as well :) GREAT visuals as well. Your powerpoint was very well done and appealing.
    No criticism!!

  6. I'm hyped by how well the presentation went! The knowledge and how well it flowed really stuck out. One critique: I would like to know more about his art contribution to the Vietnam War.

  7. You guys seemed comfortable and were one of the most natural presentations, in that you acted like you were talking to us casually.

I think that you could have expanded on the "businessman" concept a little more. I'm not sure if you fully addressed it in your presentation or if was just that he employed "outcasts."

  9. I really liked the funny stories you told about his life as well as the visibly attractive slides. I would of possibly liked to see how he influenced society a little more but all in all a very good presentation.

  10. I think you guys did a really good job explaining how Andy Warhol's work still influences our culture today and why it's important. It was also interesting to learn about some of his less well known art and unconventional practices. I think some of the details about his childhood could have been omitted because they didn't really help to build an understanding of who he was.

  11. I think you guys did a great job. I liked how each of you were wearing something of his. I think you guy could have done better on eye contact but overall you did great!

  12. You guys seemed very comfortable with your topic. The only thing i would like to know more would be about his business career.

  13. The presentation was very clear and perfect with the time requirement. I thought it would have worked better for you to explain a little more on the life choices he made just to give us a good idea of who he is as a person.

  14. The presenters seemed genuinely interested in their presentation, and resulted in an engaging presentation. It would have been nice to hear about his connections to the CIA since they funded "abstract art" during the Cold War, but I digress. Great job overall.

  15. I liked how throughout your presentation you kept a theme; that he was a visionary. You should have tried to add a video about him. Not one of his films, just one about him.

  16. Very impressed with the presentation, especially the dedication to wearing clothing inspired by his artwork.

Room for Improvement: Could of gone a bit more into the businessman aspect of him.
