Second, offer constructive criticism that would help this group. What might
have been more clear? What part of the Presentation seemed the least
polished? Be specific.
I liked how the presentation wasn't full of writing, I liked the explanations. One thing that could have been improved was that the slides could have been more engaging with more photos.
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job showing his revolutionary style in playing guitar and personality. I wish you could have elaborated on his death however.
ReplyDeleteI had never really known why Jimi Hendrix was important in music. You can tell that Paige and Matt really did their research about it, and provided really good information. The only thing I would have liked to hear about more was how he died and things in his personal life that really impacted his music since it was different.
ReplyDeleteI liked the topic you chose and the way you went into depth about specific songs of his. A negative would be that it seemed like you skipped on talking about some important aspects of him.
ReplyDeleteI liked how this presentation had interesting facts about the deeper meaning of some of his most iconic songs. Maybe a little more information and his use of drugs, would be the only thing I would add into the presentation.
ReplyDeleteBoth of the presenters were very knowledgeable about the subject and I learned a lot. I would of liked to maybe see a video or some pictures showing how crazy he was on stage.
ReplyDeleteI liked how you focused the presentation on the music he made and less about the drugs he made some of it with. Both of you are very good at speaking, very good presentation.
ReplyDeleteThis was one of the best presentations. the only thing it needed could have been a negative aspect of him.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was very interesting he was left handed and he had to use a right hand guitar but just put the strings on a different way. You guys had an awesome PowerPoint! I think for both better eye contact but you guys knew your information and did a great job.
ReplyDeleteMore of a focus on spoken content in this presentation made for a refreshing change. My only complaint is the omission of certain details in the various stages of his life that would have allowed for better understanding overall.
ReplyDeleteI liked how your PowerPoint slides had pictures and quotes mainly, most of the focus was on the person speaking. You should have talked about the bad bits of his story, his death, even if you were going for a certain tone in the presentation.
ReplyDeleteI like how you went into detail about each song and how it connects to a problem in the real world.
ReplyDeleteI wish you talked about his personal life and how drugs effected him.
I enjoyed the lack of wordy slides and the knowledge of the artist. However, the flow of the verbal aspect could have been better.
ReplyDeleteReally enjoyed the details you gave us in the presentation.
ReplyDeleteRoom for improvement: presentation speakers sounded monotone at times and a lot of the sentences started with "Jimi Hendrix-" instead of other identifiers making the presentation very repetitive.
I think you guys did a really good job. your presentation was interesting and really explained Jimi Hnedrix's life and motivations very well. I agree with others that I wish you would have included more detail about the role drugs played in his life but I understand why you didn't.
ReplyDeletei think you guys did a great job talking about his music and all of the things he influenced. most people are quick to mention the fact he was a major drug addict. great job guys
ReplyDeleteThe presentation was presented well and it was very informative. I liked how it included how he obtained his first instrument and the unique style he created. I would have liked to heard more about his influence's of the songs in the generation at the time.
