For your comments on Presentations:
First, write about something well done. What did you learn from this group? What part of the Presentation seemed the best? Be specific, and use a specific example from the Presentation and your notes.
Second, offer constructive criticism that would help this group. What might
have been more clear? What part of the Presentation seemed the least
polished? Be specific.
I liked your presentation and that you talked about the design and importance of the buildings, as most people really only know of them for the 9/11 attacks. One thing is that I wish the presentation was longer, maybe used a video or something.
ReplyDeleteThey did a great job of presenting the information. They also did a good job of portraying their opinions.
ReplyDeleteThis presentation was very well structured, and clear points were given, making for an easy to follow and understand experience. Additional supplemental knowledge would have benefited in order to better answer any questions given.
ReplyDeleteI liked how comfortable you both were talking and gave a lot of great information about how this event effected the market before and after. My only critique would be maybe a little more information about the actual attack.
ReplyDeleteI liked how you showed the towers as being at the center of it all; having people from many other countries there. Use pictures, if possible, instead of reading straight from the slides.
ReplyDeleteI liked that you had a lot of content that really helped me learn more about the twin towers. One thing I would change is that there were a lot of words on the slides, otherwise the presentation was good
ReplyDeleteGood job presenting the information, it was very factual and had good precise points and was easy to follow. A recommendation would be to use more pictures or maybe a video to make it more interesting.
ReplyDeleteone of the weaker points the presentation was the Q&A portion of it. make sure to research multiple angles of the topic to avoid being stumped. You guys pack a lot of information in a small amount of time which was good as well as having a good flow of information.
ReplyDeleteYou guys gave a clear outline of reasons why it is famous, which is something almost all of the presentations lacked.
ReplyDeleteI think that you guys could engage the audience in a more personal way. Finding a way to relate facts to us.
One thing i would change is to speak more rather than reading the slides
ReplyDeleteI liked how the economic impact of 9/11 was included, I thought it was really interesting. One thing I thought could have been added was information about the towers in it's earlier days.
ReplyDeleteGREAT use of giving iconic reasons to why you believed your topic was/is important. Good, relevant info shared. Good visuals.
ReplyDeletecriticism : the info you shared was great, but share a little more and maybe include how the towers are respected today.
Good information presented, but I felt like you guys read of the power point more than any thing.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed how you were able to talk about the symbolic meaning of the towers and what they represented instead of focusing solely on 9/11 like most people do.
ReplyDeletePresentation was a bit short, could of had a bit more.
I liked how you guys had your main reasons on the first slide then later went back and elaborated on each point. one thing i think could have went better was a video to take up some time and grab our attention more
ReplyDeleteYou guys explained iconic points very well, and I liked how you explained the effects of 9/11 on the US economy and society. There was relative information i felt you left out however.
ReplyDeleteGood keypoints about explaining why the twin towers were iconic. I've learned a lot since I never really traveled. your focus and reasons were good
ReplyDeleteI could feel some patriotism resonating from the verbal aspect of the presentation, but I would like to know more about the legacy like the comments given afterward. A picture of the new building and maybe the disaster would have been more effective.
ReplyDeletethis is one of the most touchiest subjects in American history and you guys killed it. I thin you could have included a little more about the actual attack itself but you did a great job of including everything about the towers
ReplyDeleteVery informative presentation I liked how you referred to it as a symbol of American prosperity. I didn't know there was many different corporations within the towers. I would have liked to seen more info on the memorials they created after the attacks.
